Policy Research , Inc. (PRI) is a small,
non-profit business with a staff nationally and
internationally known researchers and support personnel.
Since the firm was incorporated in 1995, PRI has been
funded by Federal and state agencies, national
organizations, and foundations to support major national
surveys and other studies, conduct research and
evaluation, provide technical assistance and training,
and plan and facilitate major conferences and meetings
and other knowledge transfer activities in the fields of
mental health services, substance abuse treatment,
criminal and juvenile justice, and homelessness. PRI is
known for its expertise on issues related to:
* mental health and substance abuse
treatment services in the criminal justice and juvenile
justice system
* facilitating recovery for persons
with mental illness
* the organization and delivery of state and local
health and behavioral health services
* consumer and
family member issues and involvement
* homelessness and housing
* issues pertaining to children and adolescents
* service delivery for co-occurring disorders and
systems

PRI has worked on many SAMHSA
multisite studies and has an excellent understanding
of CMHS, NIMH, HUD, and related Federal agencies.
We also have a history of working very effectively
in collaborative arrangements with a variety of
